About Me

I joined Talent84 back in 2022. I jumped feet first into our Hospitality division learning all the different roles we covered, all the rules and regulations around payroll/compliance and so much more. I loved registering new candidates, getting to know where they worked in the past, what their aims were for the future and matching them up with suitable roles to get them closer to their goals! This role made me realise how integral communication is in recruitment not only to the client but to the candidate as well.

It was quickly noted that my people and communication skills could be beneficial elsewhere! I was given more responsibility within the division and started attending meetings, ‘checking in’ large numbers of staff at events and being present on site to add another layer of support for our clients.

In the middle of 2024 I was given the opportunity to blend both my past roles together and take the jump to Recruitment Consultant. I love that no two weeks are the same and there is always something to work on and look forward to. My weeks are often filled with a mix of client meetings, face to face interviews and filling job bookings. Sprinkled with some networking and training to keep up to date with the industry and new legislation.

I can’t wait to see what 2025 brings!

Fun Fact

I’m a qualified nail technician and I also worked in a hair salon for 4 years.

If I’m not out shopping or eating, I’m usually painting nails and curling hair for my family and friends.
