Lee Ellison joined Talent84 in December 2020 as a Recruitment Consultant, 2 years (and one pandemic) later, time for a check in and to see how he’s getting on.
Tell us a bit about yourself
I’m 23, my time outside of work is spent doing anything involving music and socialising with friends.
What was it that attracted you to recruitment?
Recruitment was something I was pushed towards and after getting into the industry, I quickly realised it ticked all my boxes. From how much I enjoy talking to candidates but more the satisfaction of getting them out of jobs they don’t like and placing them into more suitable employment that they genuinely enjoy.
How’ve you found it at Talent84?
As far as working for the business, Talent84 has given me plenty of developmental opportunities as well as the trust and autonomy to run my desk.
What are your thoughts on the jobs market in 2022?
It’s evidential that the current recruitment market is very fast paced, due to the high demand for permanent roles within the telecoms sector, with alternative networks cropping up UK wide.
