The Role
Are you a driven and dynamic sales professional looking to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment? We’re seeking a sales and account management professional with a strong background, ideally in a manufacturing environment, to join our reputable manufacturing client.
Responsibilities:
- Internal Sales – Handle incoming inquiries, design solutions, estimate costs, and process orders for bespoke plastic fabrication products.
- External Sales – Visit new and existing customers to understand their needs, solve challenges, provide quotes and secure orders.
- Lead Generation – Identify new business opportunities and drive growth through proactive outreach.
- Relationship Building – Strengthen connections with existing clients and generate upsell opportunities.
- Support the Sales Team – Assist with quotes and sales of standard and bespoke plastic items.
Criteria
- Proven Sales Skills – A track record of success in a sales-driven role.
- Strong Communicator – Excellent customer service and negotiation abilities.
- Problem Solver – Ability to understand technical drawings and provide tailored solutions.
- Organised & Proactive – Able to manage time effectively and generate new business.
- Industry Knowledge – Experience in engineering, fabrication or plastics sales is an advantage.
- Tech-Savvy – Comfortable using IT systems (Microsoft AX knowledge is a plus).
- CAD Knowledge (Preferred) – Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Driving License (Preferred) – To attend client meetings, trade fairs, and events.
