Maintenance Technician

Job Description

My client is a well established steel manufacturing plant who currently have an immediate requirement for an experienced Maintenance Technician (Mechanically biased) to join their growing team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to with a wide variety of equipment and will be offered job variation and stability whilst working on specialist products and machines. You will be a team player and able to work within a fast moving production environment, where excellent customer service and high product quality is key.

Criteria:

– Strong Attention to Safety

– Flexible

– Self-Motivated

– IPAF Certified

– Mechanical Skills (qualified)

– Electrical Skills (qualified)

– Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems

– Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods

– Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices

– Experienced in CNC machine operations (preferred)

– Have a keen eye for detail

– Self-motivated with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines

– Able to demonstrate good organisational skills
