Main purpose of the role:

A field based role working within a team covering a regional area. Working on industrial, commercial and residential properties. Servicing, repairing & installing a range of doors and gates, automatic & manual.

Key Tasks:

Daily tasks will include liaising with the Office Team to determine route and workload either as a lone worker or as part of a team. You will communicate with the client to determine their exact requirements which may consist of mechanical/electrical fault finding, site surveys, fitting replacement parts, carrying out upgrade works, completing PPM, installation of complete new doors, gates, barriers, loading bay equipment etc. You will complete all required job paperwork with enough detail to enable the office team to process as required and complete on site quotations where possible. You will form part of a 24/7 call out Rota to ensure our clients requirements are always met.

Key Requirements for role:

3 Years + relevant experience in the industry working on Industrial/Automatic/Commercial and doors, gates, barriers and loading bay equipment.

Industry specific electrical knowledge and training including CSCS card, IPAF, PASMA, BSEN16005, Gatesafe Diploma, NVQ in related subject, electrical certification (this will be provided where necessary).

Ability to work comfortably at height. Have a basic understanding of IT systems. Full UK driving license is essential.
