We’re delighted to be working with this prestigious and growing Charitable Organisation in their search for an experienced Senior HR Coordinator / HRBP to join their small but incredibly busy HR team. The business has grown to a size whereby they now need to recruit an additional member of staff. This is a brand new role and a real chance for the successful candidate to make their mark and put their own stamp on the role.

The successful candidate will ideally have worked within a leisure environment, or have a real interest in sport and be qualified to Level 5 CIPD, or at least working towards ideally. You will support and provide advice to the management team, advising on employee relations and improvements. You’ll also support the management team with recruitment and induction of new staff, in addition to creating, updating and supporting the implementation of HR policies and procedure.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Advise the management team on employee relations, giving guidance and coaching where necessary.
  • Carry out investigations, disciplinaries, grievance hearings and absence meetings.
  • Conduct and feedback on exit interviews
  • Maintain records and monitor HR data.
  • Produce reports.
  • Create, update and support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Support with annual appraisals and salary reviews.
  • Support department managers with recruitment of new staff
  • Monitor absence levels and advise line managers on implementation of absence management policy and procedures.
  • Support the HR Manager with the implementation of the People Plan.
  • Work with EDI team to increase the diversity of the workforce.
  • Work with HR Manager to implement training plans.

 

Criteria:

  • CIPD Level 5 (or working towards)
  • Experience ideally in a similar role
  • Strong experience gained around Employee Relations
  • Experience gained within a charity or leisure environment would be preferred but not essential
