Front of House Staff Member – Permanent Role

Talent84 are looking for a permament member of staff for a restaurant in Newcastle City Centre. You would be working as a front of house staff member in a busy environment, that can be high-pressure at times.

The role would be around 40 hours a week, with a mix of day and evening shifts

We are looking for someone who is confident and friendly, can provide a welcoming environment for customers and is able to keep their cool to ensure smooth service.

The role will include:

• Taking food and drink orders, and serving these to customers,
• Making simple drinks behind the bar,
• Taking payment – confident using a card machine,
• Memorising weekly specials, and answering any questions about the menu,
• Taking bookings and takeaway orders over the phone,
• Liaise with kitchen staff, for example, for takeaways and preorders.
