Permanent Transport/Logistics Planner Vacancy 

Talent84 Ltd have a Permanent, Full-Time vacancy for a Transport/Logistics Planner to work for an established logistics provider at their site in Newark.

Hours of work are:

• Mon – Fri
• 3.00 pm – 1.00 am (twilight shift)

Pay Rate:

• £33,080 per annum

Job Purpose

• To execute a logistics plan that ensures all products reach their destination safely, securely and within time scales agreed.

Duties are varied and will include:

• Being a point of contact for customers
• Managing a team of drivers
• Organising schedules and routes
• Ensuring vehicle checks are completed, that all vehicles are safe and meet legal requirements.
• Ensuring that the service and maintenance plan for the vehicles is up to date and followed.
• Ensuring all compliance is adhered to including vehicle weights and driver hours.
• To work within budgets set and ensure that all resources are maximised.
• Completing reports
