Machine Operative – Featherstone

Paid Breaks and Free On-site Parking – Weekly Pay

£32,500 – £34,500 per annum dependent on skills & experience

Temp – Perm (Permanent contracts will be offered if attendance and productivity targets are met)

Talent84 Ltd have a number of full-time vacancies for Machine Setters / Operatives to work for an established packaging manufacturing company in Featherstone.

Hours of work:

• Continental Shifts – A mixture of nights and days including some weekend working.
• 40am till 7pm when on days and 6.40pm till 7am when on nights

Duties are varied and may include:

• Setting Machines – Configuring machines according to specific job requirements
• Operating Machinery – Running the machine and monitoring output to maintain efficiency.
• Maintenance – Performing routine maintenance including cleaning machinery and replacing worn parts.
• Troubleshooting and Problem Solving – Identifying issues and faults when machine malfunctions and suggesting improvements
• Quality Control – Checking, measuring and visually inspecting parts and products ensuring that they meet the required specifications.
• Document Control – Maintaining accurate documentation of machine settings, production runs and issues.
