HGV Technician/ Mechanic

Talent84 have a permanent opportunity for a HGV Technician / Mechanic to work for an established logistics provider at their site in Middlewich

Hours:

Working on a 3-weekly rota:

• Week 1 06:00-15:00 Monday – Friday
• Week 2 06:00-15:00 Monday – Friday
• Week 3 10.00 – 19.00 Monday – Friday
• every other Saturday 06.00 – 12.00 (enhanced payment)

Pay:

• £18.00 per hour
• Saturday £19.50 per hour
• If Sundays are worked as overtime £24.50 per hour

Duties are varied and may include:

• Inspection, Repairs and Maintenance of HGV’s and Tankers
• Diagnostics work – accurately using and interpreting output from diagnostics equipment
• Ensuring all work carried out is within industry, company, and manufacturer guidelines
• Completing associated vehicle records

Skills Required

• City & Guilds/BTEC/NVQ or equivalent in a relevant field
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Mechanical experience within a workshop
